One Small Salamander For Man, One Giant Leap for Mankind

One rainy day after Jess got home we decided to try our hands at flight. Eliot started it and the family has been doing the same to practice for a Christmas picture.

This salamander just did not care to be picked up yesterday

Notice Eliot's perfect flying form.

Happy bo-day, flying man!! We were lame and did not make the train trip up to P-land, but rather spent the afternoon teasing Don on Tim's roof deck ;) (We did sing a good four part version of the birthday song to Sue, and it is a real shame that we are not all in T-bo's jeep still to give you such a rendition. You'll just have to imagine it.) We have a little zucchini cake which we will sing over in your honor. Congrats on nursing school!!! You will be wearing one of those cute white outfits in no time. (Keep in mind that Anitra is the only person I've ever known during nursing school - so I have a very sassy imagination of the whole thing.)

Big big hugs,

other k.
