Yay! We like to chat with you and heckle you. A homeschool thought: when I was going to Lincoln, there was an awesome team of parents who did a *periodic* homeschool thing. So their kids all went to regular school, but they'd organize particular semesters where they'd take a whole group of kids out of school together to learn some specific thing or work on a project or go to Mexico or something. It was *brilliant* because it offered kind of the best of both worlds. (In general, as I've asked around about home schooling, I've definitely gotten the best reviews from people who were able to do it with at least a small group of others -- less stressful for parent-teachers, who then have support, and also good for kids.)
